An Update on Our Opening

We are all going to have to wait a little longer…

After a difficult couple of weeks discovering that there have been some problems with our extension building works, we have had to face the news that we cannot open our doors and welcome children and families for a little while yet as we had planned… we have sorted the problem and the building works on our new toilet block, extended bistro seating area, party room and additional space for toddlers and activity workshops can continue over the next couple of weeks.

Wearing our hearts on our sleeves, it’s hugely disappointing and frustrating to have to share this with you when we expected to be announcing our official opening date and launch events. That said we can’t and won’t open without everything being finished to the highest possible standard so that our Play Village lives up to the fantastic excitement and anticipation we have received about our opening.

Once we have the details we need from our new building contractor we will be able to give you the firm update on our official launch and opening date that we are so eager to share and you are all have been so patiently waiting for. We would be second guessing at this stage until we have the new build programme of works in our hands and a strong steer from the build team.

On a much nicer note…

On a much nicer note the good news is that all other key elements for this stage are on track.  Our new kitchen has been fitted to produce some fantastic meals and snacks for visitors and the actual role play village is complete…well, we couldn’t resist the commissioning of a an VW ice cream van for the under 3s which is on its way.  We can’t forget to tell you that the response to our recent job advert for Creative Play Facilitators has been phenomenal!  We have been genuinely humbled by the talented people we have met from all walks of life, by people that can do a far better job than us, and now recruited a wonderful team of talented staff.

We are doing everything we can to make sure a visit is worth the wait and we thank you for your continued support…

We have been heavy hearted about sharing this with you. The delays have been hard to swallow, but we have put that to bed and will continue to work hard on giving you the best experience we can for all the families and children who are excited about spending time with us.

Thank you for your support and patience, it has been so important in inspiring us to create a magical and unique play space in Warwick for so many children and families to enjoy. We are incredibly grateful for all the support you have shown us … we look forward to being able to welcome you all in person soon enough!
