School, Nursery and Group Booking Terms & Conditions

All school, nursery and group bookings visiting The Children’s Play Village are subject to accepting the following Terms and Conditions. Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully prior to making a booking.

About School, Nursery and Group Visits

1.0 All information regarding schools, nursery and group bookings at The Children’s Play Village can be found at Please direct any questions or queries you have to or telephone 01926 830635 to speak to a member of our team.

1.1 A school, nursery or group booking includes admission for the number of children agreed for a 2.5 hour period, held during one of our 3 play sessions.  The first play session starts at 9.30 – 12pm, the second at 12.30pm – 3pm and the third at 3.30pm – 6pm.  All visits begin and end at the same time as one of our 3 play sessions.

1.2 School and nursery bookings can only be made Mon-Friday during Term Time at the advertised prices.

1.3 Schools, nurseries and groups can arrange a booking to attend The Children’s Play Village during one of our public play sessions or exclusively hire the facility.

Making a Booking

1.4 All bookings are made via a member of our team using our online booking system. Please email us at or telephone 01926 830635 to speak to a member of our team to check availability and discuss your requirements.

1.5 At the time of booking you will need to confirm your best estimate of the number of children attending and the booking will be made to accommodate the number of children stated. Due to The Children’s Play Village operating a maximum visitor numbers policy we cannot guarantee availability for additional guests after the initial  booking is made.

1.6 Adults are not required to purchase a ticket. An ‘adult’ is a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years entering with a child

1.7 The person making the booking will receive The Children’s Play Village Risk Assessment for information and is responsible for arranging a pre-visit assessment to ensure all risks are adequately assessed. Please email us at or telephone 01926 830635 to book your pre-visit assessment.

1.8 The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring they meet the appropriate legal requirement for adult to child ratios for external visits.

Confirmation of Booking & Payment

1.9 Once your  booking has been made, you will receive a confirmation email from The Children’s Play Village to the email address provided. Please contact us immediately if any of your details are inaccurate and we will amend.

2.0 Once your booking has been made, our accounts team will generate and send an invoice to the email address provided and full payment is due no later than 3 weeks prior to the date of your planned visit.

Booking Cancellations And Transfers

2.1 Please ensure payment is made 3 weeks prior to your visit to secure your booking and spaces. Spaces will be released and made available should payment not be made.

2.2 Your booking may be transferred up to 3 weeks prior to your planned visit subject to availability. If you need or want to cancel your visit please contact us via email or telephone.

2.3 All cancelled bookings within 3 weeks of the planned date are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

2.4 In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking for reasons beyond our control, we will ensure an alternative venue is found and if not suitable a full refund offered.

General Terms & Conditions

2.5 The person making the  booking accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of every visitor and is responsible for ensuring these Terms are communicated to and followed by visitors attending.

2.6 The person making the booking accepts full responsibility for the supervision of children whilst at The Children’s Play Village, along with parents/guardians attending with children. Staff (Play Makers) at The Children’s Play Village are present to enhance the play experience of your child during a play session, however, they are not responsible for the supervision and behaviour of children.

2.7 The person making the booking is responsible for providing The Children’s Play Village with a list of attendees in the event that this is required for Fire Safety.

2.8 Your  booking includes admission for the number of children agreed for a 2.5 hour period, access to activities offered by Play Makers and a reserved area for children in our Bistro for food and drink should this be required.

Our Play Session Times & Closures 

2.9 The Children’s Play Village opening hours are 9.30am – 6pm, 7 days per week excluding key holiday dates which will be advertised on The Children’s Play Village website.

3.0 The Children’s Play Village operates 3 play sessions per day each for a 2.5 hour period. The first play session starts at 9.30 – 12pm, the second at 12.30pm – 3pm and the third at 3.30pm – 6pm.

3.1 You are asked to arrive at The Children’s Play Village no sooner 5-10 minutes before your  starts and children will not be permitted to play until their play session begins.

3.2 Visitors who arrive after the start of the play session will be required to leave at the end of the play session as per the  booking.

3.3 All visitors must leave The Children’s Play Village at the end of their play session. Following each play session The Children’s Play Village closes completely for 30 mins to allow staff to tidy, clean and reset role play areas for visitors in the next play session.

3.4 The Children’s Play Village reserve the right to close all or part of the play village should there be a risk to the safety and security of visitors and staff.

Rules of Entry

3.5 The Children’s Play Village provides play provision for children of all ages and until their enjoyment of role play ceases.

3.6 All children entering The Children’s Play Village must be accompanied by an adult, 18 years and older. All babies, pre-walkers, toddlers and children must be supervised by a parent/carer at all times.

3.7 The Children’s Play Village have the right to ask a person to leave should they evade our rules of entry and play.

3.8 The Children’s Play Village have the right to ask a person to leave should they pose a danger or threat to staff or customers. Fighting, bullying, abusive language or illegal activity of any kind will not be tolerated and will be asked to leave without refund.

3.9 To prevent the spread of infection children who are unwell, or who have been unwell, must not visit The Children’s Play Village for 48 hours.

4.0 If a child or adult becomes sick or infectious whilst at The Children’s Play Village they will politely be asked to leave.

4.1 With the exception of school parties, outside food and beverage cannot be consumed on The Children’s Play Village premises unless agreed with management.

4.2 Food or drinks (hot or cold) are not permitted anywhere within The Children’s Play Village other than designated visitor areas.

4.3 The Children’s Play Village is a smoke free facility and smoking is prohibited anywhere on our site, including the use of e-cigarettes.

4.4 No pets or animals are permitted except for assistance animals.

Photography, Camera and Mobile Devises

4.5 The privacy of other visitors must be respected. Visitors can take photographs of their own children for personal, private, non-commercial purposes only.   Unless permission has been expressly granted by us, pictures and images cannot be reproduced in any format or media other than for private viewing.

4.6 The Children’s Play Village only shares photographs of children playing on our website, social media or promotional materials with prior written consent from parents/carers.

Security & Safety

4.7 CCTV systems are installed externally and internally at The Children’s Play Village to enhance the security of the building. The Intended purpose of CCTV is for:

  • Protecting the building and its assets both during and after opening hours.
  • Reducing the incidence of crime and anti-social behaviour.
  • Assist in identifying, apprehending and prosecuting offenders of criminal activities.

4.8 Video monitoring of public areas on our premises is for security purposes only and is limited to uses that do not violate the individual’s reasonable expectation to privacy.
