More About Our Positions At The Children’s Play Village…

Our staff team is made up of wonderful people, all of whom play a very important and different role in creating and maintaining our outstanding word of mouth customer experience.  For those working in our Bistro Kitchen, this will mean preparing every plate of food with care and pride; for those working on reception and serving areas this will mean serving and greeting our visitors in a warm, fun and friendly way just as you would hope your own family and friends would be welcomed and looked after and for our Play Makers this is a role that requires a sense of playfulness and enjoyment playing with children. Here’s a little bit more information about the roles, what’s involved and type of people we are looking for.

Play Maker

This could be of interest to nursery nurses, someone looking to go back to work, childminders looking for a change, those with a performance background. For us, this is about finding people who can light others up, aren’t afraid to step into pretend characters and be silly, who are warm, energetic and engaging and take the lead role in positive interactions with toddlers, reception, pre-school, primary school aged children and beyond to encourage exploration and discovery of all aspects of The Play Village. Our Play Makers are happy to Sing and Perform our scripted Drama in the Village with a captivated audience of children and adults – often using head microphones.

Vacancies: Due to our wish to develop and grow our team we are inviting applications for Full Time, Part Time or Occasional Staff. We are also happy to hear from those looking for seasonal work over the Christmas period.
