Play Heaven For Children That Love Imaginative Play
The Children’s Play Village is a role play village in Warwick that has been created with passion and love and simply makes children’s hearts sing! We can’t imagine what it must be like to see the Play Village through a child’s eyes but what we do know is just how much joy it brings. Your child can play in a Village of shops and role play areas designed to perfect scale and incredible detail just for them. With over 7 years of greeting, caring and entertaining families we can say with confidence and a hard earned reputation that we are a one of the UKs best and most love role play village.
Our Play Village is play heaven for little explorers who are just toddling through to children of upper primary school age. We also have a lovely baby area in the centre of the Play Village so parents with babies and older children can enjoy time with their baby and watch their older child explore and discover.
Parent alert: we do get a few tears at times when it’s time to leave!
What Parents Say About Us
The Children’s Play Village has become a special place to visit for many, many families, not only because of the fine role play areas and the beautiful play space we have created but because we focus so much on caring for our Play Village and all of our guests. In between the myriad of commitments we all have in our week…after school clubs, swimming, dancing, football you name it it’s nice to just stop! Time is precious and we know with families of our own that creating the small and big family play memories is priceless, and we are told it just has that special something!
There is nothing quite like reading what parents feel about their visit and for many of us, this is our go to read when making decisions about how to keep of cherubs entertained. Why not have a read to see what parents feel if you want to be sure we are will hit the spot in your search for Days Out Warwickshire. We are proud to say that all of our recommendations and reviews are unsolicited and straight from parents who are often compelled to share their experience with others, something we very much appreciate, read and listen to.

For Days Out Warwickshire, Families Often Choose Us
Yes, for many families we are and we have been astounded over the past 7 years by just how far guests will travel to us through recommendation from friends and family. Our families visit us from both locally and much further afield and with such easy access from the M40 we are often a meet up point of friends and family looking to have a lovely day out. We have often been referred to as an attraction and we wouldn’t disagree with that…only we are a play attraction without the high cost; parents are often telling us and sharing with us that we are great value for money and fair.
For those travelling to us, playing at the Village and then travelling home afterwards certainly do see us as a day out. For many of our local guests we are honoured to feature on their busy weekly social calendars with some many other things to do and choose from. If it was us, we’d be asking ourselves “Is it worth the military operation to get the children in the car and drive to (throw in a few minor meltdowns…that’s usually us) then yes I think we are worth the effort. Are we worth grabbing a slot in your social calendar then yes I think we are.
We Have Thought of Parents Too
Children are important of course they are and making sure they have had the best time, but you are our priority too. Let’s face it we have all spent many hours thinking “that is a few hours of my life I will never get back but the kids enjoyed it so it’s okay”. We don’t want that for our parents, your enjoyment and comfort is just as important. After all, unless the children are raiding their piggy banks it is you who feels the pain of visiting an attraction that just didn’t live up to the picture perfect family day you had in your minds eye.
First things first, we do a decent cuppa! Lavazza coffee with fresh steamed milk is our choice of coffee and judging by the boxes of coffee we go through each week, it’s a welcome bit of parent luxury. Our Bistro area has been designed to give a more grown up feel and our qualified chef team are at the Village each and every day to prepare fresh, delicious food. Whether your joining us for breakfast, brunch, lunch of dinner we are created a menu to tempt you whether your eating as a family or sharing a social bite to eat with friends.

What To Expect…
Well… expect the warmest of welcomes when you arrive and get checked in ready for play. Our Character Performers (a wonderful bunch) welcome all the children onto our Village Green to say ‘hello’ and plant the seed of a Village Story that is going on that day. For example, it could be the Village Sports Day and children are invited to join in with the activities and dramas initiated by the Performers throughout the play session if they choose. Lots of children love this part of their visit and other children are engrossed in play or sidle off to play with a toy they have had their eyes on. Your child or children can choose to join in with the games and activities on offer.
We run 3 play sessions each day and we close in between each session completely to have a good clean and tidy. Oh, the hours of cleaning and tidying we do each day and week. Mrs Hinch is a huge inspiration to us and our staff go to great lengths to nab this nickname!
Once your play session is due to come to a close we have a short tidy up time so the children know it’s time to go. It’s like magic and every home should have a tidy up song!
Do I Need to Book?
If you’re planning days out in Warwickshire and we have made it onto your bucket list, online booking is essential. We strictly restrict the number of children playing in each session so there is plenty of time for those visiting to explore and play in all the role play areas. We really don’t like disappointing anyone, but we are very protective and unapologetic over preserving the quality of play experience and there have often been times where we simply can’t accommodate more guests. We really wouldn’t want you to travel to us with your family only to be turned away and pre-booked tickets are essential. Not only do we offer play sessions for families, we also have a number of exclusive hire school visits and parties across the week when play sessions will be completely closed off to the public.
