With over 5 year’s experience of hosting families, nursery and over a 100 school visits we have earned our stripes as a destination of choice for school trips and gained an almost unbelievable reputation that is the envy of many. We say with confidence, we do not disappoint.
Playful Learning & Exploration
Our nursery and school trips offer early years, reception, KS1 to KS2 the opportunity to freely explore our dramatic play environment with 12 beautifully themed and playfully realistic role play areas with many shops and services found in real life. As well as offering a stimulating and playful learning environment our Character Performers will ignite the imaginations of your pupils as they bring to life our Village stories with activities, games, songs, music and dance throughout.
What To Expect From Our School Trips
Our Team & Manager will be ready to give you the warmest welcome when you arrive and help get the children settled and ready for play and exploration of our Village. On arrival you will be shown to our Bistro for a short time to remove shoes and coats and of course toilet trips once you are ready our team will open the play session and your visit will begin.
Our Character Performer Team will welcome all children and grown ups onto our Village Green for a Welcome song. They will introduce themselves so all the children know who they are and plant the seed of our Village story and theme, and then invite the children to play. During your visit our Character Performers will engage and play alongside children and throughout the session initiate numerous activities or games that children can join in with if they choose.
Throughout your visit our team will also be discretely tidying toys away. At a time agreed with the event organiser and after some play time, the children are welcome to take a snack and drink break in our Bistro. You are of course welcome to bring food and refreshments with you.
As your visit nears to a close, our Character Performers will bring all children together for a game of Tidy Up Time, followed by a story and a final and big Goodbye. All the children will then be asked to return to the Bistro, pop their shoes on and we will host the safe departure of all our guests.
